Built for a Kent heating firm
Built around
the emergency call
Regans Heating and Plumbing serve southeast Kent. The site answers the two questions an emergency visitor has before anything else: do you cover me, and will you come out now.
The planned work, bathrooms and boiler replacements, sits further down with photos and the Gas Safe registration, for the visitor who is comparing three quotes rather than mopping a floor.

What goes on the page
What a plumbing site has to answer
- Do you cover my postcode? The single most common reason someone leaves. Say the area in a sentence, not as a list of towns, and say it near the top.
- Do you come out tonight? If you do emergency work, say the hours plainly. If you do not, say that too. Being clear loses you the wrong calls, which is the point.
- What does a call out cost? You do not have to publish a full price list. Saying whether the first visit is chargeable removes the thing people hesitate over.
- Are you Gas Safe registered?Put the registration number on the site. Customers are told by their own gas safety guidance to check it, so make that easy rather than making them ring to ask.
- Can you do my specific job?Boiler repair, boiler replacement, bathrooms, leaks, power flushing, landlord certificates. One page each. People search for the one thing they need.
- Is there any proof?Photos of real installs, a handful of reviews with the town attached, and the length of your guarantee.
One page per job, and why it matters
A page called “Services” ranks for nothing
Someone searching for a boiler replacement and someone searching for an emergency leak are different people with different urgency and different budgets. A single page listing both answers neither search well.
We built Regans Heating and Plumbing with every service on its own page for exactly that reason, so the right jobs come in rather than any job at all. That is also what makes a trade site rankable: six focused pages each matching a real search beats one page trying to match six.
It is more writing, which is why it tends not to happen when the client is expected to produce the words. We write them.

The services page, done properly
One page
per job
This is what one page per service actually looks like. Boiler repair, boiler replacement, bathrooms, leaks, landlord certificates: each with enough on it to be useful, each matching a real search.
It is more writing, which is why it tends not to happen when the client is expected to produce the words. We write them.

Getting found locally
Being on page one for the searches that bring work
Plumbing searches are almost all local and almost all urgent. “Emergency plumber near me”, “boiler repair” with a town attached, “plumber” and a postcode.
Two things decide whether you appear. The site has to be built so each service and each area has a real page behind it, and other sites have to mention you. The first is our job. The second takes time and we will not pretend otherwise.
For a sense of what realistic looks like, a scrap metal collection business we built in Maidstone now sits at position 3.2 for “scrap yard near me” and 2.9 for “scrap metal collection maidstone”. Those are the equivalent searches in their trade. It took months, not weeks.
We are a team of sevenworking across Kent: designers, developers, local searchand the people who actually answer the phone, building websites that earn their keepfor plumbers and heating engineers who need the phone to ring.Let’s talk
What it costs
One fixed price, and you own it
We quote the whole job in writing before anything starts. No hourly billing, no surprise bills, and the site and the domain stay in your name.
Most plumbing sites are five to eight pages and take a couple of weeks once we have your photos. You send bullet points, we write the pages.
If you are currently paying monthly for a site you cannot edit and do not own, that is worth checking before you renew. Ask whose name the domain is in.
The honest bit
When we would tell you not to bother
If you are booked out for three months on word of mouth, a new website will not fix a problem you do not have.
It earns its place when you want more of one kind of work and less of another, when you are competing with lead generation companies selling your enquiry to four other plumbers, or when the site you have is so old it is costing you jobs you never hear about.
We will look at what you have and tell you which of those it is, including if the answer is that it is fine.

Questions
Plumbing website questions
How much does a plumber’s website cost?
We quote one fixed price for the whole job in writing before anything starts, with no hourly billing. Most plumbing sites are five to eight pages. Across the UK a small business site typically runs between about £500 and £5,000 depending on size.
What should a plumbing website include?
A tappable phone number on every page, the area you cover written as a sentence, whether you do emergency call outs and the hours, your Gas Safe registration number, one page per service rather than one list, photos of real work, and a few reviews with the town attached.
Should I have a separate page for each plumbing service?
Yes. Someone searching for a boiler replacement and someone searching for an emergency leak are different people with different urgency. One page listing everything answers neither search well and tends to rank for nothing.
Will my plumbing website rank for “emergency plumber near me”?
It can, but it takes months rather than weeks, and it depends on who else is competing locally. The site being built properly is necessary but not sufficient; other sites mentioning you matters too. We will tell you honestly what your area looks like before you commit.
Do I need to put my Gas Safe number on the website?
You are not obliged to, but you should. Customers are advised to check a registration before letting anyone work on gas, so making that easy removes a reason to ring someone else instead.
How long does it take to build?
Usually a couple of weeks once we have your photos and the design is signed off. The build is rarely what holds a project up. Waiting on photos and approvals usually is.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The site and the domain stay in your name whatever happens. No setup fee, no exit fee, no minimum term, and if you leave we hand everything over cleanly.
