Why custom code
Why we do not build on page builders
Page builders such as Elementor are quick to start with and costly to live with. They are prone to bugs, need constant updates to keep working, and carry a licence fee every year.
Plugins have the same problem. Each one updates on its own schedule, so after a few months the site needs looking after just to stay as it was. Custom code stays the way it was built.
You can still edit your own words, photos and products. Leaving you able to run it yourself is part of the job.
Foundations first
We would rather fix the foundation than build on top of it
One client came to us with two CRM accounts under the same name, so form submissions were landing in different places, and had bought another plugin to patch a form that was not holding data. We told him to stop and fix the foundation first.
When a membership site is planned for thousands of users, building it properly at the start is cheaper and simpler than a retrofit later, when there are live accounts and data to move.

Development work is quoted after a proper scoping conversation, in writing, before anything starts. If a project is better done in two stages to keep the first cost down, we will say so.
Half to book and half when you are happy. You own the code, the design and the domain.
After launch
We keep watching once it is live
We receive Search Console alerts for the sites we look after, and automated security alerts from the hosting, so problems reach us before they reach you.
When something breaks, we fix it quickly. One membership client reported a fault at 3.48am and had it fixed and confirmed live by 11.04 the same morning.

Yes, where it suits the job, custom coded rather than assembled from a page builder. That keeps the site fast, keeps maintenance down, and still lets you edit your own content.
Can you work on a WordPress site someone else built?
Yes. We fix, speed up and extend existing sites, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping or cheaper to rebuild.
